My commencement ceremony will be Saturday, June 9 at 9:20 AM. I want to extend an invitation to all of you to come up to Minnesota and share the occasion with me. I have reserved a number of rooms and beds for the family, so if you are interested in coming, there will certainly be somewhere (free) for you to sleep on Friday night. Friday during the day, I would love to share my campus and my home for the last four years with you. The campus and the arboretum are full of natural beauty. Apart from showing you around, I would also like to bring you to some celebrations. First of all, there is a picnic BBQ with one of my best friends/senior thesis partner and her family from noon to 2 PM on Friday. After, I was hoping to take you to the Psychology Department celebration and the Educational Studies Department celebration so you could meet the professors who have been hugely supportive of me and incredibly influential during my college career. Later there is a garden party at the President's house that we could all enjoy together. For the remainder of the day, I would be happy to continue to show you around campus, the arboretum, and Northfield. Saturday morning, of course, will be commencement. After which, I am planning on heading back to Arlington Heights... and I am so excited to see everyone who is unable to make it up to Carleton! I sincerely hope that you will be able to come to Carleton and share these two days (June 8 & 9) with me. However, if you are unable to do so, I completely understand!
