I'm depressed as heck right now. I'll head out to 1800 tonight and try to cheer up with some friendly faces.

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling down. You probably just need some exercise - walking always helps me feel better and figure stuff out. Another thing that I know works is learning something new.
The best place for you, imho, A&H library. It'll get you out for a walk and there are so many interesting things to do, you can check out movies, go on the internet, read the paper, ask questions, and you never know who you'll bump into.

It's got to be hard to be down and out so much. Handling stress is a life skill that I think a large majority of the population lacks. It ain't easy, but I swear there have got to be ways to get better.

One thing that has always worked for me is to find ways to be thankful for what good things there are (talents or possessions or whathaveyou) and then follow that up by using those good things to help others. That is the winning combo for me anyway.
yea I am feeling much better kris, thanks. These things are like roller coasters, sometimes for weeks at a time but I guess I got lucky. I intend to paint some masterpieces very soon.
