Our new neighbors, the foxes

At the request of the birthday boy, here are some photos of the foxes living under our shed. I hope they stay awhile!

This is the adult digging out a wider entrance to the den. In past years, this space has been home to a raccoon family.

This one was taken last week - you can see the kit (baby fox) on the left.

Thanks for the photos, Kris! Every so often we see a fox in Evanston. Soon after, we usually see signs posted: "Help us find our lost cat." Uncle James always wants to add to the signs: "Very delicious. Thank you. Mr. Fox." Anyway, we think they are beautiful animals. Yours look healthy. We never saw a kit before, so we especially appreciate that shot.

Those foxes(foxi)? are totally more cuter than coca+$1000. Which is double her true value. Thank you so much for those pictures, they are even more awesome than i thought!

The fox pictures are great! How lucky for you that you have them:) We have a black bear roaming in our neck of the woods. He was spotted about a 1/2 mile from here eating out of a dumpster:( The FWC is trying to trap him and they'll move him into the Everglades or Ocala Nat'l. Forest.

We always see signs for lost cats around here - we feel badly for the owners -- you know those poor cats were fox, bear or gator bait.

I think there was a fox den by Hersey High School this year, too.
