perch... what a promising trick. it's not at all as if we're exploiting coca's love of food while undermining her intelligence when we make her perch.

happy birthday tom tom!

thanks for the wonderful pictures kris!

Happy Birthday, Tom! I guess as a guy you wouldn't want to be called "Sweet Sixteen," so how about "Smart Sixteen." Uncle James and I think you are very intelligent and polite and have a great future ahead of you!

Kris these pictures are so great! I am so thrilled to see everyone was having a fun time on the milestone event of Tom's BDay. Happy Birthday Tom!!

Me and Tommy had a talk about how in a warrior family like ours it's more of a "Savage Sixteen". This is a rite of passage where the young warrior must challenge a wild boar in unarmed combat. If he succeeds, he will live on a man. If he fails, well...

By the way I am having a great week. I worked on Sunday and met the lead actor who played Superman in "Superman Returns", his wife who is an actress and a bunch of other big wigs. It was kind of a frustrating day, but I got to work alongside a superhero (actor) so it boosted my ego more than I probably needed.
I guess I have funny stories to share, actually, one about this guy (Brandon Routh is his name) and about how he didn't like mayo on his Poboy. (Not kidding)But maybe I'll just tell you about it in person, it's a really fun story to tell.

Ta ta for now family. Love you all.

That pic with mom and dad lighting a candle happened randomly, yet I love it. Tom said "I need something to blow out"(before we start singing). Dad broke out a match and lit it, at the same time mom went to get a candle. She really didn't know blowing out the matchstick was dad's plan. The picture is awesome and I would say its the best picture of the night.
